Understanding her need to help people, Ms. Rutland pursued a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal: Sociology from Winona State University. Determined to position herself as a leader and advocate for others she continued her education at William Mitchell College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor.
Ms. Rutland has experience working with many professionals in the legal and social service systems. As a former nationally certified child forensic interviewer, child protection investigator and case manager Ms. Rutland has the experience necessary to help families in crisis. Ms. Rutland has the ability to evaluate the strength and weakness of a case and can provide resources and referrals for families in need. Ms. Rutland has the ability to formulate creative solutions to assist you and your family with your legal problems.
Ms. Rutland is truly a “solo practitioner” that works independently from home to eliminate overhead costs associated with a running a law office on main street. Ms. Rutland is dedicated to helping individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford legal representation. Ms. Rutland is able and willing to meet with clients at times and locations that fit into the client’s schedule and will work cooperatively with clients to establish affordable legal fees.
